"The Church needs your energies,
your ideals, your enthusiasm to make the
Gospel of Life penetrate the fabric of
society, transforming people's hearts and
the structure of society to create a
civilization of justice and love."

Who Are The Trinity Missionaries: Father Thomas Judge, founder of The Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, had a vision of Church. He saw every Catholic called to the missionary life - reaching out to alienated Catholics, caring for the poor. Father Judge founded our community in 1929 here in North America. Our full title is Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, but we are popularly called Trinity Missions. We are part of a vibrant missionary family of laity, sisters, brothers, deacons and priests called the Missionary Cenacle Family. The oldest Missionary family in the U.S.A. We have been sending men and women, laity, religious and ordained on mission since 1916! For more info on the Missionary Cenacle Family see our Web-site at: www.mcenacle.org.

Missionary Priest, Brother
Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity

You will find them moving from mission to mission, facing the unknown, bringing to those in need the spirit of hope. You will find them among the poor, the abandoned, the neglected - among migrants in California, the Choctaw native Americans in Mississippi, in the soup kitchens of Cleveland and the rural hills of Puerto Rico and Mexico. They are the Trinity Missionary brothers and priests. "Other directed" men who heard His call: "If one of you wants to be great, he must be a servant to the rest."

How do you know if God is calling you?

Fr. John Ford, Pastor
Catholic Church in DeLisle
Pass Christian, Mississippi

Poverty - "as I experience it, is
an atmosphere,
an attitude which provides the significance to what I do."
  - Fr. John Edmunds

Chastity - "I have come to see that I belong to another ... to Jesus."
  - Fr. Stan Bosch

Missionary Sister
Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity

Are you an active Catholic woman between the ages of 18 to 35?

Do you have a compassionate heart? a desire to DO something for those in need?

Do you wish you could share your faith with others, and work to bring Catholics back the the Church?

Do you have flexibility and spirit of adventure to work in new places and other cultures?

Do you have the humility and sense of humor to be able to work on a team?

Do you want all of this, and the support of a religious family, too?

MAYBE YOU BELONG IN OUR FAMILY?

We are Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity, and we are proud to belong to the Missionary Cenacle Family.  In a number of our missions we work side by side with the lay men and women or with the priests and brothers who are also part of our Family.  Our calling is the same:

  • to do abandoned work that would not get done unless we took it on.

  • to preserve the Catholic Faith among those who are in danger of losing it.

  • to teach every Catholic to be an apostle in his or her daily life.

We are a canonically recognized order of Roman Catholic sisters, founded to serve the poor and abandoned in the Americas.  We work in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico, in a variety of ministries.  No matter if we are serving in social work, parish work, nursing, teaching, or in some other work, we are missionaries.

More and more young Catholic women are investigating the religious life option than ever before.  Is the Holy Spirit moving in YOUR life?  It is hard to be sure, isn't it?  Don't wait until you are "sure" you have a vocation!  Investigate this exciting possibility now!  Take a no-risk step by requesting information from:

Lay Missionary
Missionary Cenacle Apostolate

You don't have to leave family, home or work place to be a missionary. Members of the Missionary Cenacle Apostolate are lay people who live an apostolic life and do missionary work in their daily lives. They are instruments of God's love to the poor and all who are not experiencing the love of Christ. They from small communities of Cenacle Lay Missionaries who pray together and encourage one another in their missionary works. Some are single men and women, some are married couples. All are dedicated to sharing the Good News wherever they find themselves.

Missionary Secular Institute
Blessed Trinity Missionary Institute

A person who wishes to seek Christian perfection through the private profession of the vows of Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience can do so without joining a religious community. While remaining secular and retaining secular dress, employment and living conditions, members of the Blessed Trinity Missionary Institute not only remain the the society in which they live, but form a vital part of it, with a mission to bring Christ to the world around them.

Prayer For Vocations

God our Father, we pray that you would bless our church, and especially the Cenacle Family, with many members who are filled with a missionary spirit.

Extend your call to our youth, and instill in them the desire to devote themselves to you and to the service of your people, especially in the abandoned areas of your vineyard.

Strengthen us in the vocation we have received.  May our lives give witness to others of the joy of serving you.

We ask this through Christ your Son, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
