Alabama:

Parish in S. Alabama that serves many different needs of the poor in a large rural county seeks volunteers who are willing and ready to do general parish ministry. Volunteers would live & work with the religious and other volunteers.

Catholic Social Services serve the poor in the NW part of the state.  Volunteers with training and/or experience in social work/ behavioral sciences are needed to staff homeless shelters, outreach centers, etc. designed to serve the needs of the poor.  Volunteers live and work with sisters and/or other volunteers.

A shelter for mentally challenged men, located on a 55 acre tree-lined campus, needs volunteers in various capacities: teaching life skills, nursing, shelter workshop, food service, housekeeping, public relations or office skills.  Volunteers live, pray and work with the Brothers who staff the facility.

Massachusetts:

A multi-service soup kitchen program needs volunteers to coordinate its food donation program and to supervise the community volunteers who assist from the local area.

Ohio:

Volunteers needed to teach in an inner-city Cleveland Catholic school.  Volunteers live on -site with other volunteers.  Volunteer also needed as activity coordinator and resident assistant in group home setting for older adults with mental and physical challenges.  Volunteer will live in community with other volunteers.

Pennsylvania:

Volunteers sought to work at Hospitality House, a half-way back facility for ex-offenders in Philadelphia in a variety of ministries to men and women.  Volunteers live with other volunteers.

While serving at the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center, volunteers support  the mission of "preservation of faith by developing a missionary spirit in the laity." Volunteers primary role is one of support and hospitality in welcoming groups to the center. 


Puerto Rico:

Volunteers are needed with various skills including religious education, youth ministry, social work and teaching.  Must be fluent in Spanish.  Volunteers will live with sisters, priests, and or/other volunteers in several different locations on the island.
