This Vacation Bible School serves children and teens from low-income neighborhoods of Portmore, Jamaica. It is a joint effort between local Church leaders in Jamaica and Missionary Cenacle Volunteers. Together this team will put on the VBS at two Catholic parishes during two consecutive weeks. Volunteers will help with crafts, games and catechesis during the day, and spend their evenings preparing the next day's activities.

MCV will select a small team of volunteers from the U.S. for this mission to Jamaica. As with all MCV summer missions, the only requirement to apply is that you be at least 18 years old. Volunteers are responsible for their own flight arrangements and travel costs. There are no other fees for participation in our program, and you are provided with room and board during your time of service. This mission is open to men and women, young and old, single and married. Just be prepared for a "hot, hot, hot" Caribbean climate!
