Blessed Trinity Shrine Retreat Blesses Trinity Shrine Retreat is located in southeast rural Alabama. This site was the place of establishment of the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity community in the early 1900s. The original cabin used for a Chapel at the time is still standing, as well as a smaller cabin that was used by the founder of this community, Fr. Thomas A. Judge. The retreat house was built in the mid-1960s and is staffed by the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity. There is a wonderful peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The retreat center sponsors their own retreats as well as hosts those sponsored by other groups. Private and/or directed retreats are available year-round as is spiritual direction. There is also a newly built hermitage on the grounds for the persons desiring greater solitude and prayer. The center welcomes persons of all faith. |
