Summer Mission at Trinita: June 24-August 12, 2012
Trinita's Family Life Development Program is compassionately coordinated by our sisters at Trinita Retreat Center in Hartford, CT. Trinita is a camp-like setting of 123 acres in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. The summer program serves inner-city families who come for a week-long stay. Each week is structured with faith, fun and family activities.
MCV is seeking men and women 18 years or older to serve as volunteers at this life-giving, rural mission in Connecticut this summer. Volunteers are needed to assist in every aspect of the program. A typical day at Trinita includes family sharing time, peer group time, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and more! The community at Trinita is very diverse, and many of the families are bilingual, speaking Spanish and English.
